Pas de Deux from The Nutcracker by Tchaikovsky

£60.00

This one fools the unsuspecting audience member into thinking it is the end of the ballet. It is not. (Often there are small v young voices asking “is it over” during matinees!). It is sumptuous, dramatic and luscious. I have no idea, obviously, if this was in Tchaikovsky’s thinking but this movement is always so bright - that red/orange palette - to where it would be very wrong as the ending to the Nutcracker as it’s not how I ‘see’ the ballet as a whole.

Limited Edition, Signed and numbered giclée print.

The giclée prints are printing on archival or 'museum' quality paper with pigment based archival inks, which are UV stable. It has been proven that prints created in this way can be lightfast for up to 100+ years, depending on factors such as paper type and storage conditions.
